New Fifth Runway-
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (H-JAIA)

Geotechnical Study for western 5,000 feet for new fifth main runway and parallel taxiway. Project required construction of new embankments up to 80 feet in height and new retaining walls on the order of 60-feet high.

Analysis included slope stability and prediction of primary and secondary settlements using finite element models.
